Along with academic and administrative coordination; I have experience of teaching
Mathematics for more than one and half decades in Himalaya Boarding School and different
colleges with full dedication to the teaching profession. In the role of mathematics teacher; I
always focus on the importance and interrelation of mathematics to the whole education
system, class-wise, level-wise, national and international objectives of mathematics education.
To meet the goal and objectives; proper plans based on the national curriculum are
implemented. And tried to connect mathematics to the daily life activities of the students
applying concrete to abstract concept connecting ICT in mathematics education.

It reminds me of those amazing years spent with intelligent minds. So, for me being a teacher is something like just I can’t explain my words. First few years was like an investment and I really worked hard to give best and helped each student of my class. I am  glad that within year I started getting good returns of my investment in terms of respect, love, their best wishes and yes few pupils whom I can say my siblings. I have been teaching since past 5 years! Previously as a lower secondary math teacher now as a secondary math teacher. I became a teacher due to my circumstances, to make some money. But today teaching is something i can never give up on. Teaching is a noble profession that comes with so much responsibility and duty towards students. It gives me immense pleasure to be associated with the most prestigious education brand of this locality. Teaching is my life’s passion and I have been in this profession since the year 2009. Although this is my first year working at Himalaya Boarding School, I have found the most supportive, passionate, dedicated, creative, and innovative individuals along with the pleasant and comfortable environment in this institution. Previously, I have worked at three different reputed schools in Kathmandu Valley.

My years of experience as a teacher have shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that each student is unique and has their own individuality and moreover, their success begins with making them feel comfortable in the classroom.

I have been teaching in Himalaya Boarding School since 2071 B.S. I have done M.A. in English subject from Dillibazar Kanya Multiple Campus. I taught English subject from Grade One to Grade Five for seven years in this school. Now, I am teaching in Lower Secondary Level as an English teacher since 2078 B.S. While talking g about my teaching experience, I have learnt how to know, value and inspire the students during teaching and learning process. I always initiate my classes with well prepared lesson plans in accordance with the new curriculum developed by Nepal government which is mainly focused in four skills of English language; reading, writing, listening and speaking. Along with this, the students are able to develop the soft skills like thinking skills, interpersonal skills, interpersonal skills, communication technology and multi literacy skills and citizenship skills.The main aim of teaching English at Grade Six to Eight is to enable the learners to communicate with confidence in a variety of personal, social and academic contexts. The students will be able to read, and understand a variety of literary, informational, and graphic texts, using a range of strategies or cognitive processes.The students learning English in these grades will develop their linguistic base in English for their further studies. I give more emphasis on activity based learning for the academic excellence of the students. I am really enjoying to work here as school has provided me necessary privileges to expose my knowledge and skills for the betterment of the students. Finally, I want to say ‘Learning is not the product of teaching, it is the product of the activity of learners.’
